Apple's MacBook and MacBook Pro VS. Others (aka Windows-based Laptops)

I have been introduced to MS Windows ever since I was in high school until my college years. I always thought that Windows is the ONLY OS that ever existed, aside from Linux (.1&%). Until I worked in Film School. In there, I met the love of my life....... APPLE.
The first time I saw APPLE, I was shocked, amazed, and a little hesitant to get near it, much more touch it. There I was, sitting in a chair, looking at APPLE as if seeing the most beautiful girl that I'd ever laid my eyes on....
I introduced myself to APPLE and within a week, I started to feel her. I navigate on her. Familiarize her. Research about her. And then it stuck me. Apple's Mac OS X is 100% + more powerful than WINDOWS. And the MacBooks and MacBook Pros are way more powerful than any Windows-based laptops I've ever seen. It's so easy to use and user friendly that even kids in the elementary can use them.
COMMON people are saying that Macs are so expensive that's why they prefer Windows-based laptops. But then again, if I'll try to compare a Mac and those Windows-based laptops, I can say that these PC laptops are way expensive than the Macs because of all the viruses. In a Mac, viruses doesn't exist. In a PC, connect your laptop to the internet, and your VIRUS UPDATE (not Virus Scan Software) is automatic, every 1 second..
That is the reason why I LOVE a MAC.

Macs are cool, I used macs way back in school. They have great hardware and are built to last. You know what though? Dells are good too, especially with the new ubuntu software. I installed it on my inspiron and I love it! It kind of reminds me of mac OS. :)

Thanks for this one Samafayla33. I am planning to assemble a new PC but with a Linux OS. I simply hate Windows now. But what can i do, they are useful in some ways since 85-90% of the world is using Windows. Anyways, can you give me tips on which Linux OS is good? I tried Ubuntu but I'm not sure yet how good it is for video editing.
Your tip/s would be highly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Wow..sounds like these MACs are the way to go. I like what you said about the virus update instead of software. I have never used a Macbook but I surely would llike to check them out. Wonder where I could go to test drive one of these babies? Maybe an Office Max? Thanks for the info!

I'm sure that your place has an Apple Store aka iStores. This is the official distributor, seller/reseller of Macs. You can also check some of their features. It might look strange to you at first, just like me wherein I'll never even touch a keyboard the first time, but if you just give it time to familiarize its interface, then surely you will LOVE these Macs.
