In this bad economy, do you shop with coupons? My wife has been learning the tricks of using coupons and it has drastically lowered our grocery bill.

I swear by coupons! I started using them almost two years ago and I would never stop! It is worth the time it takes to find them and cut them or print them. I find tons of coupons for the grocery store, restaurants, and even stores that I shop for clothes at. Before I go out shopping, I always search to see if some of the stores I'll be shopping in have coupons. If we're going out to dinner, I always search the internet for coupons for that restaurant. As for grocery shopping, I get my coupons online at websites like www.coupons.com, www.smartsource.com, www.bettycrocker.com, www.eatbetteramerica.com, etc. I also get my grocery store coupons in the Sunday paper. I honestly don't know how I'd survive without using coupons now. I save at least 50% on my groceries each week. I recommend using coupons to everyone out there! Why not?? It's an easy way to save money!

All the time, I use to not use them but then one day I noticed that I had coupons for on sale items at my grocery store that would make the item free so that hooked me LOL I went to the grocery store tonight it was $74 and some change I actually paid $18.61 not bad but I did have the kids with me and I had to buy pepsi for my husband. It would have been $64 for $8.61.

I use coupons every time we shop. I started using them when we moved into our own home 3 years ago, & they significantly help the grocery bill.

I love coupons! Although only by 0.50 cents, it still save cost and cut tiny bit of the amount I need to pay. We still need to buy the things anyway. I usually receive coupons from Tesco or cut them out from the newspapers.

I use them when ever I can. We used to go to the recycle plant and get tons of coupon inserts for free. We do get the newspaper but there is nothing like getting 20 - 30 extra coupons and stocking up when things like cereal, shampoo and canned goods are on sale. If she likes clipping coupons she should check the local boards for swap groups. They meet once or twice a week and everyone sets up a list of what they want or need. Then everyone swaps coupons. It's a win / win situation and you can make some great friends that way. Happy clipping!

I've been using coupons for years and yes they can make a big difference in the grocery bill. Not only do I save those that come in the newspaper but I also print them from coupon sites.
