In Deep-fried rehab.....

Yes, I was addicted to fried foods. Not your typical fried chicken, pork chops, or french fries. Fried twinkies...... If you haven't tried them, DON'T!! They are deep fried bits of heaven. I finally had to stop buying what I needed to make them and my family and I have gone to a 90 degree turn to less destructive snacking. We haven't let go of it completely, but no more fried milky-way bars, cadbury eggs.... I don't even want to talk about them anymore.... Has anyone else ever checked themselves into a food rehab?

Fried twinkies? Wow never heard of those. I am trying to set a healthy example for my daughter. So I do try and avoid most of that. And I fail sometimes. My downfall is onion rings. And crisy chicken fingers! I had a baby 4 months ago. Could do with a bit of rehab myself!

We have a saying here in the South: Everything tastes better when it has been deep fried! Unfortunately fried foods are so bad for you. I try to be mindful of them and cut down, but I don't think that I'll ever be able to turn my back on them forever. I guess that I could try using olive oil or a better grade of oil, but that doesn't add up to simply grilling or baking *sighs*.
