Why is there a growing list of campus-killings lately? There's about more than a dozen of this incidents since year 2000. What could have possibly trigger a person to take a life and then take his own? He could be on drugs or just plain crazy, 'cause no normal person could do that obviously.
I think, by now schools should do some regular drug or psychological test/evaluation on their students. Or maybe they should start investigating on mere suspicions like if they see some students acting strange or weird lately. Or put up some security devices where they would submit themselves and their things for inspection.
I think that's important, we just never know what could be next.

Perhaps there has to be a way to represent everyone's grievances (if any) in a school.
One way is to establish social events that would make everyone aware of everyone else's pains.
It's probable the only way... but it may not work as it is. There must probably be a change of heart to all who feel above the rest...
It is probably a good time to come up with new ideas to promote psychological well-being of all students... as we know too many good ideas do not work because preferences of students and parents are threatened...
Cheers

Hi, Sir, tnks for the reply. I will call you Sir, since you look like a College Professor.
I was just thinking maybe our Schools here in the Philippines should take some precautions on this kind of student shooting incidents in those US Schools. It might happen here, there's just a lot of teenagers attending school who are little bit weird and fond of imitating things they see on TV or movies, or music videos, then dressing up of what seem to look like a rapper or a gangster or what they call as EMO's.
Now they see this on TV, on the news, they might make "gaya-gaya" on this just for the fun of it. Problem is, they might even think it's cool.. teenagers can be weird. :

I remember as a student in college, there was a Social Action Club that aims to promote volunteerism to help those in need. It seemed the really needy are the very young orphans and the old people that are alone. But in the deeper sense, we all have to look out also for the members of the school or community that may have been neglected, or to the extreme, even discriminated against.
I wish there was also a Philosophy Club that would promote empowerment of people so that there would be less forms of structural violence such as racism and apathy. On the lighter side, there could be music and dance clubs - those are a lot easier to keep going I guess.
