Slumdog Overrated?

Well there is a big controversy that follows the Movie Slumdog Millionaire. I won several awards at the Oscars. Do you think the movie was simply overrated? Or did it really deserve that many awards. I didn't kinda like the movie that much to be very honest. I felt that it was overrated. Do you'll feel the same way? would be great to have your personal opinion movie on this issue. :)

I think that it did deserve some rewards but I do get a little annoyed when the media has too much hype about it. It's good to watch once but I wouldn't say it is one of those movies you never get tired of.

I don't think so.It is really very good story with excellent background music and screenplay was awesome.Most of the oscars are much likely to common people.

I have actually seen many but not all of the movies nominated for Oscars this past year including all the best picture nominated films. It was my opinion that it deserve the Oscars that it won. It was a really good film with a story told in a different way, it has some excellent camera work and it showed me something that I would have never seen otherwise. That is what made it an Oscar movie to me, plus I enjoyed it. It was fresh and new and deserved the acclaim it got.
