Does drama run your life? Do you seem to need it to cope?

I found myself living a very relaxed and happy life a few months back and loved it, i could think of nothing but how happy i was. Then things started happening at work and i was not very happy at all anymore. I realized that most of my life had been a constant fill of drama, and at one time i was fine with it, it was interesting, kept me going, kept me fresh, but i got to a point where i was tired of it. Soo with this drama at work i guess i just let myself get too stressed out, being that i had a taste of a stress free, or mostly stress free life, i could not handle it. So anyway i did something about it, grew a back bone and i'm back to being happy with a calm and almost stress free life agian... But i'm wondering, are you like i used to be? Thriving on stress and drama, frustrations and all else? Or are you content with having a calm and freeing existance? It's an important question, because most people i know think that they would be completely happy with that freeing life, but when they get that chance they want to pull their hair out, branch out and do something insane.

Well, I think it's just a part of normal life and it means that your healthy person. Being happy doesn't really mean to have a nice car, plenty of money, bigger house, getting married, etc... If you are telling yourself that you are unworthy or don't deserve happiness, then how can you expect to be happy? It's also knowing that you are doing the best you can do, and being content with that but if you only see what's missing, you lose out on "loving" what's great about you. We live here about being in awe for the opportunity to learn something new each day. You don't know what your life will bring tomorrow, so you might as well enjoy where you are today. Your problems become smaller when you are not always thinking about them. When you take the focus off yourself, it is easier to see how great your life really is. Being happy will make you move forward. When you're unhappy, formulating a plan puts you in a different place and helps change your perspective. With all the things that happen at your age, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. Things that you can't control are often the most frustrating. You can also feel bad when you put pressure on yourself--like pressure to get good grades or to get promoted at your part-time job. I believe its just normal process in our life and there some tips or what can be done to atleast minimize it, like for example: Eating well-balanced meals on a regular basis, Drinking less caffeine (Cola i don't drink it anymore), Getting enough sleep, Exercising on a regular basis).

Hello spitFire!!! Well we have the popular statement,"Life is a drama. We are the actors and the God is a the director." Like any drama may have many difficult moment with its actors and we too have. Drama's we are are all based on life, its not that life is based on drama. After these drama shows are developed a lot, people have started to tell that the life is a drama. But don't you think drama is a life... Now when I come to this question, I feel difficult to answer does drama run my life? Well life surely brings happiness and sadness and no doubt I am happy when life makes me happy and sad when life makes me sad. Yes sometimes, drama is necessary when I can't cry even I am getting hurt and instead laugh out to show to the world. Sometimes we need to show ourselves as a happy person even though you are not currently happy....By the way are you talking about this drama? happy mylotting...

When my husband and I got married, it was crazy family marries crazy family, and together they equal one gigantic crazy super-family!!! Dang. Hubby used to think that there was no way to live without the drama, and he just put up with it, but then I came along. I don't like drama, and I helped him realize that there is a life beyond the drama. LOL

Dearie we are on the same boat. My life is also ruled by drama and misery. The best part of it was that I am the main chracter and all the people that surrounds me and make me miserable are the villain. I try not to worry to much and wallow in misery but sometimes it is just too hard. I desperately need to find a boyfriend hahaha

Haha i guess everyone needs "some" drama in their lives to make their days a little bit more...interesting if not "tolerable". lol I have had TONS of drama in my life and they're usually fights my friends or my bf gets into. Most of the time, i find these fights ridiculous but nevertheless, i get so enterained at how such small things could turn into a DRAMA. lol ^_^

Well, I used to be that way when I was a lot younger, but time, knowledge, wisdom and life's lessons have taught me that being stressed out and wound up, gets you nowhere. So, I too have learned to find that carefree life I once had in childhood. I do what I want and go where I please; if people wish to come with me, then they're more than welcome, but if they wish to take a different route, then that's ok too, because we all have to find our little niche in life. I believe that to an extent, I found mine when I found my new path, and I'm happier now than I ever was in adult life... or perhaps "content" is the word. Brightest Blessings my friend. x

I am content with having a calm and freeing existance I think.I don't like big changes while I will be glad if I have the chance to try something new. I know your feelings.Sometimes everything seems going on well with us while sometimes things change and we just can not get what we want.Don't worry.Things may change and it is the truth no one can obey while you can keep yourself in a good mood.Just ignore bad things and always remember that things will change better.Wish you a happy life.
