Amazon ships electronics to India????

I want to buy Microsoft Zune 120 but i cant find it in my city. I thought of ordering it from amazon. they do ship internationally. but i could only find books and dvds. when i went to Amazon global marketplace India was not listed as a country. I am ready to pay the 30$ shipping price if i am getting it in India. so pls clear to doubt. i have already looked over the whole site.

Yes, Amozon is available in India. But they charge money for that. Service provided by amazon is very good and satisfactory in all the case.

yes they charge 30$ for 1 shipping and 16% custom duty. that means i will need to pay extra 70$ on 300$ player. but i wanted to know if it reaches my door step safely or not. some goods are stuck in custom duty and stay there for like forever. some do come but they are damaged in the long journey. have you bought anything from amazon?
