I hate it whenever I received such question. It was like "give us a reason to reject your application because we already have someone in mind"
Usually I would say, I couldn't find a reason since there's none. But they will follow it with "Tell us your strength then" There's no end to that.

i guess the interviewer is just expecting how well will you think on an out of a box situation.

Hi there. Actually, our guidance counselor in college already briefed us as to how to answer such a question. Problem is, I can't remember her exact words but, well, the gist is to make answers to questions like this, though they may seem negative at first, work to our advantage when analyze. For example, I'd probably say that my main flaw as an employee would be always wanting to go home early. When asked to explain, I'd say that wanting to go home early motivates me to complete my tasks in a timely and efficient matter... or something like that. So, in the end, even if you name a negative trait, it'd somehow work out for you in the end.

Wow. It would take a lot of time for me to answer this question to the interviewer. I guess I would answer them temporarily..... "I lack Discipline"

yeah, the bottom line is to convince them to hire you but its hard to answer that question when the interviewer throws that question out of the blue.
