Can you use internet without search engines

i dont think we can feel great without search engines . the most popular way to find something you need is to use some kind of search engines ,that is really convinient for us ;)

Search engines are an intregal and important part of internet. Since internet is a collection of millions and billions of web sites it will be very difficult for us to keep track of all those sites. So search engines help us to locate our necessary sites. But if you know the URL of the site you want to visit then you do not need a search engine.

Chanceless... How can you think like this and all... frankly telling i am more reliable on search engine only. For everything i will prefer to go from search engine

Hi, Its ok for me to surf the Internet without the search engines if i am visiting the same old websites. However, I am someone who like to explore new websites but not sticking just a few. I have the habit of bookmarking the regular sites and so I can refer to the bookmarks if I need to.

I am sure you could use the internet without search engines but it would be a painstakeing task. you would have to go thur a lot of indivial seraches on the web checking websites after websites. that could take forever on doing that way. but search engines make it a lot easer.

It is impossible for us to surf without search engines. Imagine you have to remember millions and millions of URLS . Sometimes , you could have got the name of the organization or any key word. But, to find the site 's exact url , you need a search engine . I hope that search engine is the best boon for internet users.

Will entirely depend on how many website addresses you can store in your head! Personally, I think search engines are very useful in helping you find the info you want and fast!

If we know the exact URL of the site,then it is possible to use the internet without help of search engines. But it is not possible at all to remember or even make a note of the URLs of the sites. We can remember some of the short URLs like http://mylot.com, http://nokia.com etc, but we can not remember the longer URLs. So search engines are very important to use the net

For this time, its almost impossible for me not to use search engine, because i still doesnt know alot, and need search engine to help me gathering most information i needed.

Now that would be hard. xD But yeah it's still possible, as long as you know the exact URL of the sites you're going to want to visit, hahahah. :D
