Going to college can be a great experience. It can also be the beginning of financial problems. When new students enter college, they are usually bombarded by credit card companies itching to to get new customers. They give away all kinds of things to sucker you into getting their card. The problem is most new students don't know how to say no or they do not understand how to properly use credit once they get it. How many of you remember or are dealing with this problem?

I'm in this rut right now! And I've definitely learned a lot from having 2 credit cards.. Yikes. So I "remember" this very clearly. I agree with you, credit card companies DO target students - who usually don't know much about responsibility or using (and paying off) a credit card responsibly. We should have to take some kind of class or something prior to being able to use a credit card.
