Can you believe that the cellphone can make the popcorn?

Today I received an email from a friend about a video. Hard to believe that the cellphone can make the popcorn. Here is the link: http://www.koreus.com/video/telephone-portable-mais-popcorn.html Perhaps this is why some people complain about the headache since they use the cellphone.

hello, youless. have you tried it yourself? well, we did and guess what, it is not true. we even had 10 cellphones around it and each one rang all at the same time and what we only see was a popcorn seed surrounded by noisy cellphones. if you try to browse on that prospect , you would see that most of them would say is a hoax. i don't know how they did it on video but as far as for our experience, it does not work. though, you are correct that it does gives us a headaches whenever we use it because of the free radicals, same as when using our PC, and what gives me a real headaches is when my phonebills comes.lol!

Interesting video but I think I know how they did it (without the cell phones). The way popcorn pops is from water in the kernal of the corn exploding turning the kernal inside-out. If they had a hot plate under the table and then just put the cell phones there as props that would be enough heat to do it. Funny video all the same ! Thanks Zelo

I try to. I don't know if it makes it less fun. I think it makes it more fun. The problem is that I don't know if I am right or not but it would be cool if I tried it out and saw if it actually worked and then then post a magic debunked (revealed) on YouTube 'eh? Thanks Zelo

Anything is possible these days and most interesting thing is that we didn't hear any news on TV or news paper. So, it makes it hard to belive. Do you know anything about 3D animation on PC?

one of the local tv station in my country has broadcasted a tv program regarding this "effect", some scientists have conducted an experiment, and proved that it doesn't work at all.

I tried to watch that link about the cellphone-popcorn maker. I can't believe what I saw on the video. I thought its just a make believe but the videos seems real and unedited. I think I will try to experiment on that if its really true. I know that using the cellphone for very long calls is bad for health and has radioactives so I think migraines can be caused by cellphones if the phone user loves to make or receive calls.

My one friend once told me that the cellphone can let an egg cooked . I'm not sure about it . But usually after I let the phone kept calling about 30 minutes . The phone itself change to be a little heated . Maybe this is different from what your link told us . But I really worry about the radiancy of cellphone .

The whole "cellphone popping popcorn" thing has been around for a while. I'll admit, curiosity got the best of me and even though I was skeptical, I gave it a try anyways. However, no popping resulted. At all. I even used twice as many cellphones as they did, to no avail. It's what bored students do for fun, try out weird things we see on the internet :)

It's been around quite a lot and even I was quite impressed when I saw it but I definitely think it's fake!! I haven't tried it but it's too far fetched for me!!

I watched this video and I don't know how it can be fake. Because the popcorn is done when the cellphone rings. Perhaps I missed something?
