One has to worship parents as God.

Mother and father gave birth to us and it is our primary duty to protect them and worship them as God. But for them our very existence in this world would not have been there, and we would have been a non entity. So they ar equal if not equivalent to God.

first off, one is not supposed to worship anything or anyone other than GOD. yes our parents are the ones that GOD has entrusted to raise us. only GOD can create and give life. HE chooses to give us life and allow us to be born. To state that we are to worship our parents is blasphemy.
the Bible tells us to honor our fathers and mothers that our lives may be long on this earth. GOD wants us to love and honor our parents, not worship them. The 10 commandments tell us from the very the start that we are to worship only GOD.
The first commandment of GOD'S states 'You shall have no other gods before Me.'
The fifth commandment of GOD'S states 'Honor your father and your mother.'
(Exodus, Chapter 20)
Even in the new testament, Christ Jesus tells us "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment." (Matthew 22:36)
We are not to worship our parents as equals to GOD. We are to honor them with obedience and by taking care of them in their old age. To worship them is to sin against GOD.

Well said vokey. Well said indeed. We honour our parents, we do not worship them. They are not equal to God, they are just there to guide us. We honour their wishes, and do as they instruct us. But My heavenly Father sanctified be his name. Comes first and foremost above all other things.

No, only God is to be worshipped and Jesus makes it clear that following him may lead you into conflict with your parents and that conflict you should not seek to avoid.

I don't think we should.... not all parents are good parents and every parent does some things wrong!
We shold respect our parents (if they respect us) and every other human being in the world.
There is always things to question and to become a thinking person you'll have to qustion things around you even your parents!
