I like making friends offline better, actually. Because that way you can physically do things with them that you can't do with people online - like shopping, going snowmobiling, just hanging out, etc! And plus, it's hard enough learning to trust someone in real life, let alone when you sometimes don't even have any idea as to what the online person looks like. *shrugs*.

yeath . but, to certain extent internet enables you to find common hobby with thousands people , real life cannot do that; especially you have some hobby ,different from the mainstream.

I also think it is better to make friendship with real people in our life.

Having friends online is easier because you only have to talk to them when you want to and you can leave the conversation at any time. I like reading, fishing, cooking, sewing, crafts, camping, hiking, TV, Movies, Dancing, Taveling, and MLB!!

I also think it is easier to maintain friends that are online and we get time for other things in our life than making conversations at specific times.

I think it is always better to make friends in real life. I think if you are really shy you should try making friends in internet and also try your best in your real life. Just thing that most people are very shy and are waiting for you to make friendship with you. This will help you to make friendship.

Each choice has its ups and downs. On the internet, you can easily find people you have in common, so it's very easy to choose who you want to be friends with. Also you can have friends all around the world and keep in touch with them regularly, which I think is impossible in real life unless you're some kind of super world traveller or something haha xD On the other hand, when you make friends in real life, they really STICK. Not like online where you're friends with someone then the next day he's gone. In real life you get to interact physically with the other person, meaning a much more deeper relationship than a just superficial one online.

i agree with your point - STICK. one reason i hate making friends in real world is that some of them talk trash a lot ; you want to ignore them but you don't want to hurt their feeling at the same time. it's quit a dilemma !
