pirate update

You know it will be another expense for us! According to the news, these things happen virtually every day in that area! If the countries near there won't help, those that are attacked must. I think the US has had only this one attack lately, but the other countries don't seem to be doing anything. The shipping companies won't allow their ships to be armed for insurance reasons! I guess they don't consider their crews or their goods worth fighting for.

I was very happy to learn of the outcome of this situation. But, it makes me wonder why these hijackings have been going on for so long when it only takes the host counties military action to end it and probably make pirates realize it won't work. Do you think this is going to turn the tide on these hijackings? Happy MyLotting...

I have watched this from the beginning and I prayed that he would be rescued, now I can rest my prayers are answered. I hate that people had to be killed for this rescue to have been successful, however the pirates brought this on themselves. I am so happy he is safe and sound. Happy Easter to everyone.
