Are you part of the solution or part of the problem?

Where do you believe you stand in? The world has many problems and I wonder how many of us are actually doing something good for it. Do you ever think of yourself as being part of the solution or part of the problem? If you choose to be part of the problem why?
If you choose to be part of the solution what good deeds have you done lately? What do you do that is good for everyone and not just yourself? Or do you only think about yourself? Do you recycle? Do you plan on only having 2 kids instead of 4 or 5. Do you plan on adopting children instead of having them? Do you help the homeless? Do you do any good stuff for your community/neighborhood? Do you ride your bike or go on a bus instead of driving your car? Do you choose to only use warez and never buy original things?
These are things I believe we all should think about for we may think they only impact our life's but that is not the case. If you choose to pollute this world you are polluting my world too.

Well i think i am kind of both. I dont plan on having kids, but if i did want any i would adopt; I go to work by bus andn i dont usually buy original things. I dont recycle because here there arent that many recycling bins or stations and i dont help the homeless.

Good question!
I do my bit by recyling, but I suppose I could do more recyling if I wanted to. I do the basic recyling of tin cans, plasic, paper, cardboard and garden waste. I also dont use my car as much so you could say I'm doing my bit there too. Im also more aware of leaving my TV on standby due to the amount of publicy its hard in the UK. So I do try and turn plugs off and not to leave the TV on standby, although I so still do it from time to time due to pure lazyness!I currently dont have any children but I do planning on having them one day.
What is annoying me at the moment is all the hipe about electrity and leaving things on standby, using cars, airoplanes etc. Whats annoying me most is we have people like Madonna who are fronting these concert about it all when she travels around in a private jet, owns 8 or more houses in different countries and owns 5 more cars with large engines which arent excatly enviromently friendly. Who is she to tell me to turn my TV off when I only own ONE house, ONE car and I do my bit for recyling. Why isn't she selling her houses and cars and doing less traveling.
Why isnt the goverment also doing more? We are getting told its our fault for leaving light on etc when there Las Vagas lit up everyday of the week...but global warming is all our fault?!
