Ciao members who can't log in -- what country are you from?

Rumors have been circulating this past week that only Asian members seem to be banned from logging in to Ciao.com but nobody can prove otherwise. I've already emailed their support center but I don't know if I would even get any answer.
I am from the Philippines and have been posting honest reviews at Ciao.com for several months now. I understand that they may have drastically decided to simply block certain countries where cheaters seem to be coming from the most. It just seem so unfair that the honest members have to suffer too because of those who were copying reviews.
If we can't find a solid announcement about what specific countries are really banned from entering the site, can those of you who can't log in there too let us know here what country you are from so we can at least find out if only Asians are affected?
Thanks!

wow innakoe, you are a genius! thanks for the tip. i was able to log in! i just don't know how long this would last. but let's hope it does.
my only worry now is that when the cheaters find out too, they might go and poison the site more :(

That is not fair! They should first see what kind of reviews a member is posting before they ban anyone. Anyway, I am not interested with Ciao. They have been changing rules just to minimize the earnings of members. Why should I stay with them. I have stopped writing for them eversince I sensed that something fishy is already going on. I know this kind of thing will come soon and I am right. I'm glad I did not waste my effort with them. I don't know if they will pay the members who are eligible for payment this 15th of the month. If they will not, then they are the cheaters and not the members that they ban from logging in.

I agree, Ciao should have enforced a better system that should check first whether a member was writing honest reviews or not before banning anyone. Gosh, I still receive comments on my reviews up to now from members I know who are cheaters! They can still log in!
As it was, I was earning less since March because half of my time there every time I'm logged in was spent reporting cheaters!!! I wanted to do my part in cleaning up the site of the plagiarists and the copycats.
I could be selfish enough and write reviews or spend my time rating so I could earn more but I didn't. I took time EVERYDAY to report those I find who are blatantly copying reviews word for word from other websites. And yet, where did that get me? In the same boat as the cheaters :(
Yeah, I wonder if I would even receive the payment I requested last March 31.

I don't think Ciao is a scam as I have been paid there four times in the past. I guess this move they are doing now simply meant they were overwhelmed by the influx of cheaters and that they couldn't handle the load of crap that thousands of people are posting.
It's just sad that I was writing quality reviews of all the things I own or watched and yet, I became a victim too.

I am also from the Philippines and I face the same problem as you. I cannot log in. I really don't know whats wrong. They should have at least sent us a message or notice the reason for these. It is unfair for those who are really making good and honest reviews. I have been paid by ciao a couple of times before. This is such a bad news.

I am a Filipina but presently living in India. I was late to know about CIAO so when i tried to sign up, i did not participate immediately, in short, i did not write any reviews yet, after a week of sign up when i try to log in, then that's the time i saw the error saying Bad Request.
Although i never started to earn from that site, i still feel pity for those Asian members who are honest in their reviews and earning well. But since the system has been abused, the Admin should have only banned those who are plagiarizing. I don't know, maybe there are more than a thousand members doing the same cheat, so the best well they have to do is to pull the plug away, even if the honest members would also be affected.
This is what happened also to Destroy Debt. But at least, Destroy Debt posted a warning, a message that they will be ending up their revenue program. So the members were also been notified and paid. So many good opportunities that was cut short. Too bad if we can still find out more sites just to earn extra money.
