Whats on everyone's Easter menus. Happy Easter by the way. I didn't prepare a real big dinner this year. All I cooked was a pork roast, fried some chicken, spinach, string beans, broccoli, cresent rolls, garlic n herb noddles, And for dessert is made cinnamon rolls, and a banana pudding. How about mylotters who enjoy to cook and those who enjoy to eat, share what your easter dinner was like.

This year was pretty laid back. We had lamb on the grill, steamed broccoli, pepperoni bread and pumpkin pie. Not exactly what I would call typical or traditional but I got so sick of cooking the regular food items and having tons of left overs. This year I asked everyone what they wanted and told them they had better eat it. Sure enough, there's almost two whole loaves of home made pepperoni bread left (and this was some good stuff!). Oh well, next year we are going to just go to a buffet.

I hear you but I made enough because my kids are on their springbreak from school and they will eat all the leftovers. It will be my kids plus their friends so my frig will get cleaned out of all leftovers LOL. Thanks for responsing.

We really didn't have an Easter dinner. We worked outside and got worn out. We just threw some brauts and hamburgers on the grill and that was it other than some macaroni and cheese. That was pretty good.

I had my parents over for easter dinner today and I cooked a roast chicken stuffed with a pork, herb and sage stuffing, with crispy roast potatoes, sweetcorn, brocolli and cauliflower, onion sauce and gravy. It was yummy. After we had a gooey chocolate cake decorated with chocolate eggs for easter.

Well I live about 3 houses down from my daughter and when it comes to holidays we share the cooking, she made the ham and green beans. I made the baked macroni and cheese, and the scalloped potatoes, and develed eggs, and i made a cake. Seems there is a lot of hard work for such a short time it takes to eat it, the kids was in a rush to get to their easter baskets. But we went back and had supper there too, it was a nice day, would of been better if my 2 son could of been there.

Since I'm by myself I was just going to have a frozen turkey dinner. Shortly after I got home from church, though, my dad called to say they had a lot of ham and I should come over and have dinner with them! So I did, he and my stepmom are only 30 miles away (which is one reason I moved here) and we had a wonderful dinner. Mary's birthday was Friday and her family came over yesterday so there was even 1/4 of an ice cream cake there that we each had a piece of for dessert. Your dinner sounds wonderfule! I love pork roast and everything except the spinach. I'm glad you had a wonderful Easter!
