Do you regularly make a list of to do's or honey do's?
I like to make a list of the things i need to get done, the things i WANT to get changed fixed or do. I rewrite it every once in a while as well i keep a regular weekly ok i did this list.
This week my big/new things on the list are
Clean the yard of garbage and doggy poo
get brown paint to repaint my deck (will do the painting when its warmer)
watch for a sale on weather proofing for the other deck
fix the screen window - done
wash my car

Making a list is something I have just never done. I see my daughter making a grocery list and I think, "Where'd you ever come up with that idea?" BUT... I never say anything after all she is 37 years old. The funny thing is she comes home and always manages to miss something. I take it isle by isle and I never have an issue. As for chores I just do them on my good days and do what I can today and the same tomorrow. I'm just not a list maker. Guess it's what you get used to.

Lists tend to make me feel like a failure at home. I did finish some of the stuff I had in mind for this weekend, and also some things that I had not planned on but got invited to do.

Each time I start a list I usually place it on the counter in the kitchen to refer to it. Hubby comes along and tosses it out! I have left him honeydo lists and he doesn't dare not to do them! Everything we have to do with the house is done in good time. There really isn't a need for a list. The only list I make regularly is a shopping list. Although it is usually left at home I can at least put what I need to memory as I write it down.

Yes, I do keep lists....I have to or I'd forget important things. I carry a note pad everywhere I go. I also have a pad of post-its that if I really need to remember something, I'll post in on my steering wheel in my car. I went thru a spell of forgetting to shut of my lights in my car...a note saying "LIGHTS!!!" was posted and it helped...now it is habit. See my previous car...the lights went out automatically when I shut the car off. Lists are great as long as one remembers to read them.

I tried the computer reminder thing, but then kept forgetting to check. I'm hopeless. So now I exercise my brain by mentally running a to do list through my head several times a day. Doesn't help me get off my butt to actually do anything though! ROFL

Well I have a long term list which stays where it is until those things are completed but then I have a short term list which I will only do if things get too overwhelming or piled up, I make a list of what I plan to do this week or tomorrow or whatever and knock them all out.

I will make a wish list at the beginning of each year to record down my goals. However, there are at times that I am unable to fulfill my wish. I like to make a shopping list so that I don't miss out the things that I need to buy during the grocery shopping.

Surprisingly, I make to do list in office and faithfully do all the tasks. Nearly every month I go through the list and add on some tasks to it.
But never manage to do the same thing at home. There are a lot of good working habits that stay in the office.

I do or I'll forget it easily. I have a whiteboard in the house where we will write a note to leave if we're going out when no one's at home or our to do list. That include our shopping list that mom write on a piece of paper (that whiteboard can hold magnet, she use the fridge magnet holder to hold it) If someone need to leave a message behind can use the whiteboard as well.

I do not keep a to do list for home, but I should. I do keep a calendar and a to do list for work, otherwise I would let something go that was very important.Like Doctor appointments and refilling prescriptions.

Yes, I do. If I didn't, I think my world would end or at least I would never know what I was supposed to be doing and when. I sometimes keep a list for everyday, and I always keep a list for big projects like grants. It's the only way to stay sane in my profession.

I'm one of those people who obsessively makes lists, up to the point of actually creating two or three to-do lists in a day (then again, I'm also a high school student with way too many homework assignments to keep straight in my head). It's just incredibly satisfying to write out a huge list of tasks that need to be done and crossing them off - with a giant Sharpie marker! - when they're finished.
I also have a perpetual to-do list with items like laundry and cleaning; no matter how much I clean the house or do the laundry, somehow it never seems to actually be finished. It's maddening.
