I have a friend that entrust horoscope for her daily guide. The first thing she read on mags or newspaper is the horoscope section. More annoyingly if she came to my house and reading the horoscope section, she also read my zodiac and give advice on what should I do today... blah..blah..blah. When the 21.12.2012 doomsday Mayan prophecy were a hot topics, my neighbor seems very enthusiast in talking about it and he assured me on how this prophecy is going to be true and that I should prepare for the prophecy...blah..blah..blah. The only prophecy I do believe is Bible prophecy. I don't believe man made prophecy, fortune teller or horoscope. Even when I'm teen, I'm browsing the zodiac section in magazine just for having fun. I personally think that what will happen in the future specially a doomsday date, is God secret and He's not going to share the info with an ordinary human being ... LOL. I think we have to live our best each day, rather than bothering if tomorrow is a doomsday or not. Or even wasting time worrying about our bad horoscope prediction. What about you people ?

hi lusifrafa. I believe that everyday is God's gift to us.There is no bad day or good day. It is our attitude towards a day that makes it bad.I completely agree with you that future is not revealed to us Human but God's greatest secret. It is written in the bible. So if someone tells me that it's doomsday tomorrow, I consider HIm as false prophet because that's what the bible tells so.I also don't read horoscopes, or deal with fortune teller. I don't even entertain any chain letter that bring curse. I just ignore it. And your right, what's important is how do we prepare for our future. Are we save or not? Who will save us anyway, do we really know? Are we spending our Eternal life with Jesus or not? This are the questions we need to deal with. I hope I shed some light with you. Happy mylotting.

Personally, I don't believe it because it's just a guide. Besides you are the one who will make your destiny in life. But then again theirs no harm in believing in this kind of beliefs.

The harm is when people believe the bad prophecy literally. Instead of doing something positive to prevent it, they surrender their fate to the prophecy. There's many people wasting their time in believing that something bad will happen, just because they have a bad horoscope prediction. This kind of believing might ruin somebody life.

I don't believe in such things. If the prophecy or horoscope said become real, then it's coincidence. It's like what they said, even untrue things, if you believe it so much, then you will see it come true.

It's like a suggestion isn't ? Well, if one believe in such things, the person should only believe the good prediction, and minds the bad one.

I completely agree with living your best each day instead of worrying about what some magazine has to say about the future. I've never really believed in prophecies or fortune telling - even when I used to be really interested in Tarot reading, I always had this little voice in my head telling me that I was being completely ridiculous for thinking that I could possibly see what's in store for my life. Honestly, I just don't believe that we're bound by fate. Every human being has the right to make his or her own choices, and our 'destiny' is what we decide - not what others think that they've predicted.
