we've all been there---standing in a store with a handful of things that you don't really need.or you could be the type of person who spends money just to have something to do.or maybe you shop because you're hoping to feel better about something.anyway you cut it--it is impulse spending.

I'm one who does impulse buying. I hate myself for that. It's really not advisable to do this as you won't feel you are spending too much for nothing. I spent much in clothes last year which I realized a waste of money. because I can not wear them all in a week. But at this time of crisis, I tried my best not to buy unnecessary things. One has to control herself really.

In this period of economic slow down and recession, your advice is of great worth particularly in the context of economizing one's budget. In the matter of shopping, I use to be very selective and judicious. I always try to get rid of all stuffs that are not essential for me and my family members. You are quite right in labeling it as impulse spending.Thanks.

I have the habit of when i get depressed i need to buy myself something. And it has to be something ridiculous that i want but don't really need. Usually it does help to make me feel better.
