there could be many reasons why such a situation could occur. the obvious one would of course be that your partner does not wish to be with you any longer and wants to move on. or what your partner is saying could be genuine due to various reasons. your partner could be feeling insecure and think that he or she is not the person you can spend your life with or there may be pressure from the family not to continue a relationship with you. there could be many reasons but the best thing is to find out what the natter is that is bothering your partner. if you can sort it out it could help in the relationship to continue.

If I were in that situation, I wont let go until I see it to my own eyes that there will be someone who could replace me. Someone who could take care of her, and understand her more. Then just leaving her all alone by her self. Maybe that is how I treasure her. But if there is someone else well I'll let her go, and respect her decision. I can't force myself to her. Have a nice day to you!

I think what she's trying to say is she don't want to be your friend. That's only what I think. No offense. coz she don't have to be perfect one. By the way, what do you mean by 'special friend'...is it girlfriend? If that so, she's only making an excuse to reject you without hurting your feelings. So, if I am you, and I really love that person, I'll do anything to win that person's heart..it takes time, but it is worth it. But its up to you, how much do you love that person.
