I didn't like it!

Alot of people aren't liking this! The highway I take to work has 3 roundabouts instead of putting up stop lights! They are stupid to me! People speed through them! Run right through the yield signs when you are doing a half stop! The worset thing is you better stay out of the way of semi's while they travel the roundabouts! The sem's are so big they have to take both lanes of the roundabouts! There have been accidents and more are on the way! Now the county is putting in two more roundabouts farther up from the others! It doesn't make sense and there will be detour is up until September! Maybe longer! When is the insanity going to end! Roundabouts aren't helpful and shouldn't be buildt! I lot of people fell the same way I do!

Hi, I'm just learning how to drive (I'm 27 so I left it late, I know lol) so I haven't really had too much experience with roundabouts. The few I have encountered though, I do not like and find them rather scary, I prefer traffic lights. I am in Australia so I am sure we have different rules for our roads here, but all the same, I get scared driving and know how you feel about other drivers not paying attention or speeding.
I've driven a total of 6 hours so far, and am having another lesson later today. Already I have been tailgated which was scary, and had some woman yell at me in a busy place because I would not go forward in a car park, when if I had gone forward, I would have hit a poor old man who was trying to cross the road (pedestrian).
I think we should all be a little more careful on the roads and really pay attention to what is going on around us, and at roundabouts people really should take more notice of the other drivers just incase.
