Hi ajithlal, I have been planting vegetables in my courtyard all the time. I dislike having large area of lawn. We have more rains here and the grass grow tremendously fast. It’s quite troublesome to mow the grass lawn every now and then. I prefer to use part of them to plant some easy grow vegetables. Watering, weeding, fertilizing is a form of good exercise. It’s a great pleasure to watch the lovely plants growing vigorously as well as to harvest them. Happy posting

It's frugal as well to water so many plants with rain water. I place big containers at the bottom of the eave to collect rain water. I could see dark clouds in the sky right now. It seems to rain very soon. I like rain water as well for it doesn't contain chlorine which is not that good to the vegetable plants.

Our yard is really rather big so we make good use of it by planting vegetables. SOmetimes, we don't market anymore some veggies because we get them free. :-)

I love planting vegetables and love to see houses with planting vegetables. I think if lots of people plant vegetables and fruits in their house the availability of vegetables and fruits will increase.

I dont have my own garden, but my grandmother does. So Im really growing tomatoes in her garden - green, yellow and red tomatoes. Pretty good. By the way, I do got some tomatoes in my home growing. It's really great if you got your own vegetables and you can eat these, when ever you want or need. Maybe you have to make a dinner to your childrens or your wife or husband is coming home from work, so you can go to the garden, take some vegetables and cook something really quickly or make a salad. Salad's always a good choice.

It is always great to get vegetables from one's own garden. I think if more people cultivate vegetables there would be less price for the vegetables around the world.

I do not have any vegetables. I do have a berry garden. It is too cold to plant here now, and I am thinking of getting some containers around the back of the house and maybe plant some lettuce and tomatoes for salad stuff, but that will be the extent of my garden.

I would definitely love to grow my own veges. It would be more healthy and also save cost but alas I am living in an apartment so growing anything is out of the question for me. But in future if I ever move to a landed house with big garden, one corner of it would definitely be my vegetable patch.

I would love to have all the vegetables that i like in my yard. It's so happy to see them grow up day by day, and you know they are all fresh and clean. My mom is doing that. But i am working in other which is 5 hours drive from hoe. The happiest thing for me is to go home and eat the good my mom cook and look at the vegetables in our yard.

I don't but my mom is. She plant lady fingers, peas, and some others. She is hoping to plant some carrot but she couldn't figure out how. I think it's a good things to grow your own vegetables. It's a way to reduce spending.

Hello ajithlal. I don't have garden, but I have a few flower pots, in which I have grown some green onions and garlics. Whenever I need some for cooking my noodles, I use my kitchen scissors to cut some them and they always grow where they are cut. I love my flower pots, so useful for me. Happy planting, friend.
