I don't know if this is a cheat at all but I think you should know this any way did you know that is you turn off the flash light and move slowly with out knocking any object in the game over you can walk past the Nurse (which is a human female Nurse with no face and a knife of some sort) and the Nurse will be motionless (except if you bump into an object or turn on the flash light because the Nurse is blind and it finds you be sound or light) also don't run or break open the door (by pressing the button that makes Alex open the door two times to make Alex kick open the door instead of opening the door slowly).
