Annoying dogs and an even more annoying neighbor...

Last night, my neighbor has again succeeded in annoying me. They have two dogs that guard their house. The thing is, they let their dogs bark non-stop even during late at night. They don't seem to mind that their pets have become such a nuisance. Why can't they just look outside or even peek at their window and see why their dogs are making all that noise? Why can't they be a more responsible pet owner ? I believe that they are being disrespectful to those around them and I don't know what I'll do if this goes on.

hi urban...I've actually talked to them about it and a neighbor also has the same complaint....it works out fine for a while then after a couple of days, it's the same thing all over again...dogs barking endlessly...

Hi, our neighborhood has the same problem and even worst. They have an estimated of at least 5 dogs who was braking all night. And the worst is every weekends they have this sing along with a karaoke at night. We understand that they have occasions to celebrate, but they must be wise enough to low down the noise when its midnight right. But the noise of their songs was loud and we cannot sleep. Many of our neighbors are already angry with them. And I think some of our neighbors reported them already to Village.

hi pink_lady...
We use to have the same problem in our neighborhood, too. About the karaoke thing, I mean. But after several complaints during the homeowners' meeting we now have a "curfew" when it comes to that; midnight would be the latest.

We have a dog, Honey, the Pitbull, who likes to bark at things but the rule here is that if she barks more than once she comes inside. It's okay for here to say hi to her friend but with only one bark. :)
I don't appreciate noisy neighbours so I would not want to be thought of as a noisy neighbour.
You have asked them politely, next step is to give them a choice, shut the dogs up at night or get rid of them, period. If not you have to bring in someone with enough authority to law down the law.
I would last about half a night and then I would explode.

I can understand your situation.I too have a neighbour who has pets not the dog but the ducks, there are 8 ducks altogether and I just cannot understand why they make such a noise during night time.It is very noisy.I cannot sleep at all.We tried talking to the owners of pets, but they told us to mind our own business and stay away from their pets.So you see, I can do nothing about it but stay awake whole night.

That is too annoying.I think you should have a talk about the noise to your neighbor. If they continue, you go to your neighbor's house everday to complain until the problem is solved.
