I am a brand new mummy. I am learning to be a good mummy. My mum and i take care my sweety together. We have different ideas in taking care of baby.We often argue now .But the problem can not be solved by argueing.Sometimes even worse. Bother, don't know how to do.

Congratulations on having a newborn baby because that must be so delightful for you. As a primary school teacher I have learned much about children and remember studying parenting styles. The most successful parent is the one that has clear boundaries and is fair to the baby or the child. With the child as he or she gets older the parent will guide rather than control in a heavy way. A baby may feel unsettled if they hear lots of arguing. A toddler might become withdrawn and an older child might become sad. I suggest you visit your local library together and you borrow a few baby care books. Then you ask if you and your mum discuss calmly how to take care of your sweetie. Times and methods of caring change over a period of years. Good luck.

It's great to see your advice. The reason of our argument is that my mum and i both care about baby.Yeah you are right ,since we both care about her we shouldn't let her see us arguing.Just let her know we love her. And these days baby always wants to play with us during the night.Dosn't want to sleep. It's really troublesome. We tried waking her during the daytime. It only works when i take her to the supermaket. Don't know how to keep baby awake in the daytime.
