Is it just me, or does Easter Egg chocolate taste better? I have no idea why. If you buy a Cadbury's Easter Egg for example, you know it is going to be made from the same chocolate they use in their chocolate bars, but somehow it tastes better!
Is this just in my mind, or do they actually do something different when they make Easter Eggs?

To me the chocolate doesn't seem as hard! I'm sure it's the same product, but the thin shell of the egg means it's easy to bite into and feels somewhat delicate compared with a big hulking solid block.

Hi Misiufraggle,
I used to wonder the same thing, then I realized that the reason Easter chocolate tastes so much better is because it is fresher. It is made just for the holiday and they only make so much until the next year. Which, of course, means that it is going to be fresher. Same thing with Christmas candy.
Happy chololate eating, yum!
