i do not have stage fright. i kinda got used to it, having been able to perform (act) a couple of times. it helps, coz when you get used to it all you'll have is the adrenaline rush.. and not the fear.

Stage fright is one of the most common ailment affecting people. Most people can overcome it through training and practice. Perhaps overcome is too strong. I believe that conquer would be more accurate, as most people will retain a degree of fear or at least apprehension. I have heard some say that is what makes them a better speaker.

well, i don't have stage fear. sometimes though, while on stage i tend to lose confidence but i build it back very easily. let me share three simple tricks that i learnt in school.
1. before facing the audience, face the mirror. mirror would let you know the weakness and strenghts.
2. while facing the audience, if you lose confidence, either look at those who are their to boost you up or look beyond the audience.
3. finally, tell yourself that when you are prepared how could you fail..

I am not having stage fear. To be frank , i had stage fear when i was studying fourth
standard(8 years old). My father advised me to take part in speech competitions and
other contests. I followed my dad's advice and i registered in all my school
competitions. Initially , my legs used to shiver and i used to sweat. After some five or
six experiences , my stage fear was over. Later on , whenever i go to the stage , i go
with full of confidence. The easy way to avoid stage fear is to involve yourself in
stage related activities repeatedly .

OMG, i DEFINITELY have this fear...You know i'd get shaky and my hands will start to tremble and i sweat...I don't know i just cant stand in front of a whole crowd of people..And with them staring at me, i feel like i was standin there naked or something! It's sooooo frightening! I sooo do not need this fear right now because in my diploma i have to make some pretty important presentations and i really don't know how to calm myself.... _

Hi! Tk5103!
I do not have stage fear. I would perform in school and college competitions without any kind of fear or hestiation. I also perform and go for extempore topics in my offce too, when any such competion takes place. It is only in the beginning, when one feel a bit hesitant and once I start going, there is no looking back till the completion of the act or extempore.
