Texting harms your IQ?

That is the claim of psychologists who have found that tapping away on a mobile phone or computer keypad or checking them for electronic messages temporarily knocks up to 10 points off the user's IQ.

I believe that. I also think that texting and such makes people more lazy aswell. we start using shorthand things like 'lol' when really we usually mean 'oh thats funny it made me giggle a bit'
I find that my proper english and way of expressing myself goes down when I'm chatting or messaging people
