Hi guys,
I have recently re instated my website and I obviously want to get a good flow of traffic to it.
My question is, does linking to other sites/vice versa really work?? From what I have read it does but I'm after some real stories as you never know if what your reading is true or just made up!!
So any input will be gratefully received
Thanks for reading

The previous person answered a lot... but I wanted to add a bit more. I do not believe that having great content and trying to get people to link to your site is the best way to get traffic at all. Getting one way links is easy if you use article writing sites like ezinearticle. If you use that site correctly (and other article sites), you will be able to make your website very visible to people.

StereoDiva is right on about article writing, you can use articles to build links when other webmasters use your article on their site. Your authors box will have the link to your site left intact when it is published. The remark I made about good content applies to your articles as well. A well written article can be syndicated to many sites across the web. Don't forget sites like squidoo and hubpages as well.
