I have two pieces of 160 gigabytes hard disk drive. One is a seagate hard disk drive and other is western digital. My third hard drive is an excelstor hard disk drive and its capacity is 250 gigabytes. They are all sata supported. The more the storage space the more the useful my computer. I have a lots of game and application here. My documents and pictures are also included. That is why I really need a lot of storage space. I always download because I feel that I really maximize the internet and what I paid for.

As we are having 3 laptops and one desktops in our home, don't need more storage space, but still we are having 160GB in 3 systems and 80GB in one. Most of the space will remain free only as we used to write the important data into the DVDs or CDs. We have made 4-6 partitions in each computer so that each one can have one drive in all the system. Though it is unnecessary work, we are still having like this only.

I've got a 36GB 10,000 rpm Western Digital hard drive for my OS and a 1TB (1000GB) 7200rpm Seagate hard drive with 32MB buffer for main storage. Currently I'm all set for storage capacity, but I have no problem adding more if need be. I have more than enough free drive bays, free SATA connectors and extra SATA power connectors. hard drive with mass storage are pretty cheap and hopefully they will become cheaper.

Sounds like lot of storage space with which you can even run a small data center :-) I am waiting for the price to go down on SSD drives, Once that happens i might shift on ssd drives directly. Thanks for responding buddy. Take care.

What people store in their drives depends on choice of people. People like me use the drives to save DVD ISO images of various Linux distributions as well as HO movie prints. Other use it to store music, Movies and other Important things that they have with them. Thanks for responding buddy, Take care.

My laptop currently has 250gig and it was not sufficient to hold all my data since I am a avid gamer and always watch movie. However, I'm currently owning a 1TB of external hard drive.

I have a 250gb hard disk but I am at shortage already. I have over 100gb of movies, 50 gb of songs+videos , 50gb of good software but I need more. Though I am also seeing of an option on burning my stuff to DVDs and if I earn around 40$ here I will buy myself a new Hard Disk. Why don't you give a current outlay of your hard disk contents?

I usually store Linux/Solaris DVD images along with the HD movies which rahes from 4 GB to 12 GB each, so 150 gig is not enough for me. Do you delete the movies after watching them? Thanks for responding , Take care.
