That depends on.Travelling without a lot of money is stil good, even very happy, because in my mind, for example ,you travel some city that doesn't mean you need to cost a lot of money to buy the goods, to eat food in high-ranked hotel etc. And I think the suitable way travelling is just walking in and out the city, wandering in the street and lane, feeling the culture of the place and people, looking the style of buildings, eating the snack by the street, talking with people among here.I think it's a better way of travelling, and we could get more from this kind of travelling.

I think that it is possible to travel without spending a lot of money. I have discovered many ways to save money. Going by bus is often a lot cheaper than going by train or bus. Sleeping in a dorm in a hostel is also a very cheap option. Of course it is less comfortable to go by bus for many hours and to share a room with many strangers, but you are willing to travel without luxery, it is definately possible to travel without spending much money. Personally I don't mind travelling by bus or staying at a hostel.

I have to travel abroad once in a while. That can be very expensive. Ofcourse, I try to find airlines which are putting up sales for certain routes they are serving. That can save expenses quite a lot.

Traveling by bus is quite comfortable nowadays. And there are nice bread and breakfast places which are very unexpensive.
I make my own meals when travelling: restaurant eat up money. LOL

I like to look for things to do that are low priced or free to do when I travel. If you plan the time of day you can sometimes receive reduced prices for attractions. Also check the different groups you belong to and ask if they offer discounts for members.

There are many unexpensive flights. The worst right now are the airport taxes

I love to travel as well. Yes it can cost money and it jsut depends on where you want to go and how much you want to spend. I have orgizied costly trips and short inexpensive trips. how much money you need will also depend on what you what to do once you are there, some toursist desnation will have a lot to offer while others will remain simple. It is one thing to plan a trip to a forigen contry and travel overeas than to plan a trip across county or go somewhere near by.
As for me, the more money I have the better. this is simply becase I never knwo what to expect when I get there. I like to go to places that I have never been and take in things one at a time. but it will give me peace of mind knowing that I can afford to do anything I want to do while on the trip.

It is quite possible to travel with just a little money if some thought is given. In some countries it is quite cheap like in Guatemala and in some countries it is expensive like in Norway. Some flight prices can be real bargains and it is always great price wise to travel outside the main tourist season.
I so wanted to travel around Europe when I was 18 years old. I had just come out of a 2 year college course and had only had a Saturday job to save up from. So I got a job as a children's nanny in Finland. The wages were high and so after it ended I was able to travel around Europe by train. I stayed in youth hostels and met people from all over the world.
When I was 29 years old I came home from a pricey trip so my next trip would be one when I spend very little money. I got a low cost flight to Italy. It left early morning so I slept the night on the floor of the airport. I bused down to Dubrovnik from Trieste. I explored Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia. I camped in my tent, stayed in a private room and in a backpackers hostel.

yes i think i need to have a lot of money when i go travel because the places i want to visit have higher cost of living and needs a plane to get there. you also have to take into account the currency of the country and it is much higher than our local currency =( so we need to save more to get to USA or Canada or Europe. it is a blessing if you live in a country where your currency is higher than the places you want to visit

Well , it depends on how you want your vacation to be ?
If you want to have a luxurious holiday on a yacht eating caviar , you can expect a fat bill attached :)
But yes , the back pack way is the cheapest and most economical to see the world . Living in youth hostels and dormitories , eating at road side joints , traveling in buses and trains can drastically reduce your expenses .
I think time is also an important factor . If you have only a few days , then , you want to cover more places , and hence , travel quickly which costs a lot of money . But , if you have the time on your side , and can take things easy , then , you can thoroughly enjoy your trip and save on the cash too , since you are in no hurry to travel :)
Cheers
