What is the size of your current hard drive?
Is the space sufficient for your storage needs currently , If not how much do your feel would take care of all your day to day needs?
Do let me know what you feels about this.
Take care.

The size of my current hard drive is 40GB. Sufficient it is not for sure. Though I'm not specific about watching movies in high definition, I still am a movie buff and like storing good movies and music on my system.
I have around 25 movies in compressed format and I've already run out of disk space. I will probably upgrade my PC next year and surely 500GB hard disk is what I'm looking for. Anything less than that won't do.

First of all thanks for taking time and responding to this.
500 GB is a good buy for sure , but if its only the movies and music you intend to store i would suggest , buy a Dual Layer DVD writer.
It can write 8GB of data on one disk , I guess it will take care of most of your movie needs.
Again this is just an opinion.
Thanks again and take care.

I think we have two. One is 20GB and the other is 80GB. (So, in total, 100GB). It's WAY more than enough. I have a music collection of about 1,000 songs and it still doesn't even make a DIFFERENCE in that huge amount of memory. We have way too much (but it's better to have too much than not enough, right?)
