I recieved an e-mail today about Alex Scott, a brave little girl, who at the age of 4, and fighting for her life, told her mom and dad, "I want to have a lemondae stand to help other kids with cancer!" Now that is one brave, loving, and caring little girl. Sadly, little Alex lost her fight for life in 2004, but her desire to help other kids with cancer by having a lemonade stand is living on today, and we all can be a part of what one little girl started because she knew what it was like to have cancer, and wanted to help find a cure! Please visit my page at: http://www.alexslemonade.org/stands/8841 and help find a cure for childhood cancer by making a donation to the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, or organize a stand at your home this summer, or start your own page at Alex's Lemonade Stand website. Watching a child fight for their life is a horrible thing for the parent, but it is so much worse on the child, please help find a cure today!

I am deeply saddened to see her die but her last will to her fellow cancer patients is indeed a very good legacy to leave behind. I hope that her idea would spread across so that many children would be given help.

That is my wish as well, and reason for posting this info. Children should never go through what cancer does to a person. It is very sad to watch a child deal with cancer, and I pray that what little Alex started, turns into a huge event that stretches across the entire nation.
