Ever noticed that some rich persons never retire until they just cant seem to make it to work anymore?
I wouldn't work that long but I certainly would not stop working because I became rich. I would always be mindful (I think) that I could lose it all and go back to being middle class or God forbid... poor.
How about you?
Would you stop working because you got rich? Share your reasons.

it really depends how much money you mean by rich 1M or 10M. Because if I had 10M I would definetly quit make sure I don't use it all in 1 year save on my education and family

if i become rich, i will still work, i will not just lie down and wait for apples to fall or something like that. i will most definitely work more, and have vacations as well, i will however, quit working for other people but will have my own business and help other people have jobs. i will also work for God and share the blessings to other people. :)

I would quit my job right away and then have a big party and invite everyone I know. I would never work again and do things that I enjoy. Why work if you are rich. I know some people will say without work you will get bored, I don't think so, I would not get bored travelling the world and enjoying life and doing what i wanted. I know I could find so much more to fill my time if I was rich

I know I would stop working at the job I'm at now, but I wouldn't stop working all together. I would use it as an opportunity to do something that I love, but can't necessarily make enough to afford the house and car. I love the water, taught swim lessons and coached high school swimming for years, but it just isn't enough to make ends meet once you move out of your parent's house. I would go back to doing that. It would be more of a hobby than work, but I know I would be getting a little money for it and improving a person's quality of life as well.

Ever heard the saying, idle hands are the devil's playground?
What I take from that saying, and how it applies to your original post is this... if I ever become financially stable where I can quit my full time job, I would not completely disinvolve myself as a member of the "working public." I just wouldn't work for a paycheck anymore, I would work for self reward. I would work in different ways... ex: I would contribute my time to educating youth on important issues, do public speaking, or volunteer at local shelters, etc.
I would no longer work to live, but live to work.
I would spread my good fortune in positive ways and in Godly acts & notions.
For when we do not fully appreciate the blessings that have been given to us, we could wake up one day and find that they have been taken away from us...that's food for thought?!?
I would rather wake up one day and be poor, than be ashamed of how I spent my wealth....
Does that make sense?

Thats a hard one. I get a certain satisfaction from working that I don't think I would get if I was sitting around spending money without feeling I earned it. Just tonight on the way home I was feeling happy because I had bought myself a new perfume, something that I can't normally afford and it made me reflect on those things that I have purchased in the last year while working. I am proud of those things that I actually worked for. Also initially it might be fun to sit around and do nothing, but I think that after awhile it would get boring.

I will not work of course..but it doesn't mean it ends there...Instead I'll let the money work for me even if I'm rich because that time...I should have a business with a lot of employee, I have a time deposit on the bank, I will use my blessings for God's glory by helping the church, the missionaries and probably join organizations to help the poor, orphanage and the sick. (In my dreams LoL!)

I would work even I would get rich.
I don't think any wealthy person can live without working.
It will be so boring if someone doesn't have to work.

Haha, i think most peopl would go with what you had to say here cz anything can happen and ANYTHING can change when you least expect it to so i guess i'd keep on working even if i was rich...Besides, you could always just save up all that for your future grandsons and granddaughters or something yea...^_^

If I were to strike rich right now at this time I would quit my job immediately!! Since I hate it sooo much, but yeah I have to say I would but I would be smart about my riches and invest so that I wouldn't have to work anymore.

since I have had to work about all my life I would say I would stop working. I would invest some of my money and save some. I think it depends on how much money that I would have.
