Have you loved and lost?

I think all pet owners have those few animals in their life time they will never forget. I have had 2 that will never leave my heart. Years ago we found Eddy a JRT roming around and took him home. He was just a little pup at the time and quickly became my sons best friend. They had so much fun together and unfortunatly Eddy was killed by a larger dog 3 years ago. My mother had adopted Miss Sue, a lab mix, from a Humane society puppy mill raid around the same time we found Eddy and not long after Eddy went to his doggy palace in the sky Sue came to live with us since my mother worked so many hours and was unable to keep up with her nervous problems. Sue suffered from chronic panic attacks and they ailed her until she drew her last breath. She began having seizures and the ripe young age of 18 and we decided it was time to put her to sleep. I think it was the hardest choice to make but we know she will never live in fear again. Her and Eddy share the doggy palace with many other animals so share your story with me.
