It is said that a bookless life is an incomplete life. Do you agree?
Books influence the depth and breadth of life. They meet the natural desire for freedom, for expression, for creativity and beauty of life.
I once turned to books because my curiosity concerning all manners of things and my need to escape from my own limited environment lead me to find in books food for the mind and the spirit.
But to be honest, i seldom go to the library from the day i came to the college. It seems that i am becoming impatience. It is really bad.
What about you? Do you love reading?

I love to read, I can't imagine a life without books.
Depends on my mood and my need, I read different books. There are some very deep books that need concentration to read, like those economics and finance books.
The memoirs of Lee Kuan Yew is also a good book, worth reading again and again. Not many times in history do you see a man who can build up a country with no resources and a lot of problems.
There are some books that are light reading, to read and to absorb myself for a few hours in a different world.
Actually college is one of the best time to read. You will find that you remember your lessons better if you read entirely different topics. Human brains are funny, always let you remember things when you are relaxing and never let you recall anything if you force yourself to think.

I love to read!...Like you, reading is my means of escaping my reality even though it is done through reading, i could just imagine myself in the scenes taking place in the novels..It's like watching someone else's life from the sidelines and also get to know and emphatize with the feelings the characters felt through the descriptive words they use...Reading is an absolute worthwhile pastime for me...^_^
