Lately, there's this BIGTIME noontime show host who seem to be making "pakiramdam" for the upcoming 2010 election. He has not officially declared to run for any position yet.. but it seem to me that he's up for a high position bid. With popularity and influence he have, he sure to have a high chance of getting elected.
This is not a new thing to us. There's already been a number of celebrity politicians out there serving our country. How about you? What can you say about celebrities entering politics? Are they no different from the plain politicians we have?

By the way its gonna be my first time to vote for national elections so as a Filipino, I vote for a person or people that have the qualities and abilities to govern any position in our country. Being famous or what does not mean anything to me because I know I can tell who i will vote for the upcoming elections and if they are qualified for the position they want on the government.

Well in our country there are already actors and actresses that have established themselves in political arena quite successfully. But, many also have lost in their bid to the position they desire. I guess it totally depends on their ability to convince the public the are worthy for the position they are vrying for. I really don't mind if they are famous or not for as long as I can see their sincere intention to join in politics.
