I am a seasonal tax preparer and every year it amazes me how many people put off doing their taxes till the very last minute! I had 4 clients yesterday and 3 scheduled today. I personally couldn't wait that long cause I just think what if there is something I need that will take time to get like paperwork I didn't know I needed or what if I owed money. So how many of you haven't done your taxes yet? Two days to go you better get it done.

I never wait until this late. I go straight to H and R Block as soon as I get my stuff in the mail. That is usually in late Januart or the beginning of February. I like to have my return in hand that day or afew days later. I probably have all my return spent before most people even start thinking about getting their return done. I am done!

Taxes are done, and received back already. I am overwhelmed by how many people take it clear to the deadline, then complain because the preparer is assisting someone else.

I am going to tie my husband to the computer chair and MAKE HIM TO DHIS tomorrow! LOL I am going to fax mine to my accountant (He's American and doesn't know the Canadian tax laws or else I'd get him to do mine too). I am mathematically deficient, so I'm going to send mine off to my accountant.

LOL. I had a rough day yesterday I was called in early and was there for 8 hours with no break and did 7 returns. one return took me almost 2 hours and they griped about the fees when the fees were no ways near comperable to the work I did!!! Another one took me an hour and a half and he still has to come back today to finish it!!!

Yes gratitude would be nice. I have some great clients and others who could use some charm school for sure. People tend to forget that I don't make the prices and that I get paid on commision from the fees they pay and it isn't a whole lot let me tell you. Next year will be even less as my company is cutting back and changing our certification which boils down to they don't want to pay us.

They should be thankful that someone is willing to be the tax preparer. I definitely would not want to do it, no matter what the fee that was paid.

We had ours done last week. We ran late this year; usually we get them done at the beginning of march.
