Well,I still remember my school days and the moments that I shared with my friends there.I am now into my college but those days are still in my mind.I regret that I have lost my touch a lot of friends after the school was over. Not with all,as some were close to me.But,I do not have any contact with a lot of others.I wanted to ask you all that do you miss your friends with whom you are not in touch?Share your views.

I'm a freshman now ,and I'm very happy that many old school friends often send short messages to me or some telephone me since we left school.Because we are far from each other ,we cannot often make a phone. But I have to admit that I have lost touch with many friends, even those close ones in school. In fact,I think those friendships are the purest in our life, and we should cherish them. However,we ourselves have our own work to do everyday, maybe we really don't have so much time to contact every one.But we can greet them from time to time and let them know you still remember them .When we spend our vacation ,we gather together to enjoy ourselves.

Hi bumba
I'm sorry that you had lost touch to some of your friends, getting into college sometimes does that.
When I went to college I still kept in touch to my besties through snail mails lol but after a few years since they got busy with studying and so was I, we weren't able to do so. I wasn't able to get into any of the reunions either till some of my classmates in High school went to other countries either for a job or to be with their families who live abroad. Even up to now we rarely talk but the only difference is that we can communicate easier through the internet. We try to send out msgs on a website that we are all members of... you might know that. But yeah, they have their own families and work to attend to most of the time and I'm too busy at work, too... But we do try because keeping friendship is important to people's lives.
Maybe you can try asking some of your common friends on how to contact your other friends. You can try asking their current emails so that you can all converse through it when you all have time in between studies or on vacations...
hugs... much luck to you... Happy Easter!!!

I do, very much so because the new friends that i have in college are soooo UNLIKE my old friends...I think it's because of their age and that they're matured and all so most of the times, i miss my old friends and the crazy, whacky fun times that we had. Because everyone is so busy with their own stuff now....We hardly go out and have fun yer know...But we do still keep in touch...you know like chatting and those stuff...ohwells, i guess it happens...

Hi mira91,thanks for responding to this discussion.Well, chatting and social networking sites are good ways to stay in touch with old friends with whom you cannot meet very often.I also do this. But,why do you think that your college friends are unlike you?

Like i say, maybe it's because of their matured thinking or maybe they're just not like me. Maybe their definiton of fun was just different than mine? Ahah, maybe i have grown accustomed to my old friend's whacky habits and attitudes that adapting to a new one seems strange and just different yer know...^_^

Well it has happened with me in the past.
I also lost contact with some of them due to busy college life and also because of shifting.
But some of my school friends are still in touch with me through internet and mobile phone.
After this lesson I am always meeting my college friends even after completing my graduation.
So at least I don't have to regret about it in the future.

there're quite a few friends I lost contact with. I can't find any way to get in touch with them anymore. I really miss them too much. Especially for those girls I once liked so much but never had I confessed to with my affection on them! If the god would like to give me another chance to turn back the time, I think I would definitely cherish the opportunity and show out my affection clearly.

You still have chance to keep contact with them. Don't regret later! Contact them right now!
If you are still in contact with some old friends, maybe they know some of who have lost contact with you.
I have lost touch with some of friends for almost 16 years, it is a bit difficult to keep in touch with them again, but you know, if I insist to show them my sincerity to keep our friendship, I think we still can be friends again. But I am definitely busy at the moment with my business, so to keep contact with the lost-touch friends maybe a bit impossible to me right now.

Unfortunaltely I must say that I lost contact with most of my school friends. It's really strange that people that are close do not make an effort to re establish some contact. In the modern society where there are many tools for communication, it seems people get isolated from their friends. I miss some of my old friends.
Nowadays most people need to work hard and there is few available time for our family, kids, there's always a lot of things to do at home...when we have time we go to watch TV, or something like that.
I feel responsible as well for losing contacts with my school friends.

Hi Bumba, i was graduated from college 2 years from now. I already lost contact with most of my classmate. But we have our own community, so if you want to find someone, you post a question there, so one from my class who is close with that classmate will pass his/her information to me.
But since we have primary school, middle school, high school classmate, i still lost a lot of their contacts. Sometimes feel sad about it.
