I want to warn my fellow filipinos of a site that promises to secure employment without asking for any money... and that site is http://www.all-aboutjobs.com The former name of this was jobineurope.com... but they eventually closed that down because of the huge number of complains and warning for sites like complaintsboard.com and fraudwatchers.com... it seems like a legit site and there is no mention of any fees... but once you come into contact with them... they will refer you to this site http://www.express-translation.co.uk This is a so called translation site which will take care of all the documents you need like resume, cover letter, work permit number, etc... etc... for a fee of 32 euros... then from there the asking for money thingy will start... After paying the 32 euros and submitting the document to the first site... they will then say that you did not get the job... but another company is interested so again you will need the service of the second site... and this will continue on and on and on... Believe me... a lot of people from all over the world were already victimized... i have read a lot of stories about how they paid through westernunion... but were never given any employment... so please be aware... of sites like these... they thrive on peoples hopes and dreams...

Thanks for the heads up! I have been exploring online earning for a while now but so far, I have not been scammed. I guess it's because I stick to the programs that does not require me to pay them (why the heck would I pay them, when I'm the one who needs money?) and that I try to see what other people say about the site before actually joining in :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Did a Filipino made this site as well??? this is disturbing. but obvious that the website is a complete scam and only a stupid desperate enough to go through that.this is why some people prefer applying personally on the company because internet is also drawn to scam sites that asked money from you first. , they never got tired of making sites like that just to get some more money.

If you will check the site at whois... it was not made by a filipino but europeans... particularly in Bulgaria... and maybe in England... but their target are mostly Asians who dream of working in Europe... Thanks for the response...

It sounds like a scam to me. I am not Filipino but Canadian and my mother got caught in an assembly product, they were machine knitting. And her knitting was never good enough. So we all have to be careful.

Sound like a very dangerous job... my brother-in-law once worked in a paper company where they are always in danger of getting caught in the machine... we had to urge him to resign... since it was a very dangerous job... Thanks for the response...

Thanks for the warning @aseretdd. In times like this where many are looking for legitimate sites, others take is as an opportunity to swindle others. I really don't get it though how others fall into this scheme. Why would somebody pay if they can provide all the documents and secure work permits themselves? Why would you pay for such if they job is not 100% sure available? And, why would you py the same amount the second time if you already have the papers? Besides, Euro $32 is already a considerable amount here in the Philippines. I hope others will really think several times before believing and acting on such offers.

Well, if you will check out the site and try it for yourself... it will seem that they are legit... until they start asking for the fees... when it was still the jobineurope.com... i actually paid the 32 euros... then when they asked again for another fee... i decided not ot pursue it because i know they will be asking for more... Thanks for the response...

Thank you so much for sharing. Actually, most people would be victimized by this scam since so many people are desperate now to have jobs due to financial crisis. I just hope everyone especially job seekers to be more cautious in searching and applying in doubtful sites, particularly the ones that ask upfront payment.
