I decided to double down finally and I think I finally won. I am taliking about my garden bed down at the back end of my yard. I doubled it's size this year. This photo shows the area after being done today. The very back area doesn't need to be turned as I am planting squirrel food there. HAHAHA! I spent a lot of time digging and turning it today. Now I have to add some good top soil and or black dirt is all. I turned the compost into it. Man that stuff stunk at first. Did you make your garden beds larger recently?

Hi GRANDPA BOB,
The squirrels will have a fild day and you've done a nice job of that, glad I don't have to do any composting as I can't stand that stink, we have a garden nursery two doors away from us and sometimes when the wind blows the wrong way after they have been turning their compost heap it stinks high heaven.

As long as I keep them in one area the rest of the garden will prosper very well. Hopefully anyhow.

Well, I'm thinking once we add a fence I planned to add borders around my yard and do the same as you. I know it's alot of work especially the digging and turning.

Gardening is never ending work actually.
Good exercise and the end results are great though.

This will be my first garden and it's now 8x10 but I think I'll need to make it bigger. I have so many things I want to plant! Today I did get some seeds in the pots, though!

Hi granpa Bob,
I congratulate you for your garden beds, As for me, I´m putting my plants in all kinds of containers and placing them far away from my new animal daughter. LOL I have a 4 month old puppy that is quite naughty and wants to be a gardener when she grows up. Meanwhile she loves to dig and to uproot. She uproots my best plants, of course, not the weeds.
