Do you have a reading list for the summer?

When I was a child, I loved reading the Mad Scientists' Club or any story that involves camping, picnics, exploring, taking trips, etc. in the summertime. I think I'm going back to this way now that I'm a mother, so I can be inspired to do all these fun things with my daughter. As for an actual reading list, I've been meaning to read more Alexandra Stoddard. Is there a list of books or any reading material you plan to bring with you to vacation? Can you recommend books that will inspire us to make the most of summer? Thanks. :)

Not really, my reading list is a pile of books on my kitchen table. I participate in several book swap sites, so I never know what I am going to get next, its kind of fun actually. So I essentially read what I have. I am going to try to read a few classics that I have laying around this year but I read all the time not just during the summer so I don't have a list for the summer.

I recommend for you to read Epic Fantasy books just like The Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind (the basis for The Legend of the Seeker TV Series) and my all time favorite, Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time Series. I recommended this books cause they will take you to places and aside from the adventures, you will also encounter characters you like and don't like but all of them are the heroes in the book. Just like Severus Snape of Harry Potter wherein in the last book, we will know that he is REALLY protecting Harry from Lord Voldemort. Anyways, If you wanna read to your children, maybe you can give your child/children hardy boys and Nancy Drew books. Enjoy your summer.. :-D

Even if its not summer, I still read a good book. The type of book will depend on my interest. But for now, I am hook reading about on how to be financially free.

Right now I'm reading "The Millionaire Next Door." Great book that can teach you some easy ways to build wealth, not "get rich quick."
