Britains Talent Wows the Judges

I saw this lady on TV briefly. Definitely unattractive and quite overweight but her voice....WOW!! the voice was sweet and pure and clear and just so beautiful. If you closed your eyes you could see an elfin or faerie type creature in your mind, so sweet was the voice.

LOL--Like I said I hadn't realized you started a discussion about Susan Boyle. I watch that video over and over again and get goosebumps every time I hear her sing...if anyone deserves to win that contest she does!!! OH--yes the look on Simon's and Piers' faces was priceless...heehee. Even the audience that initially first laughed at her, were giving her standing ovations

I also thought she was amazing. But I have seen Simon turn from a smirk to a smile in exactly the same say. It was when Paul Potts came on and started to sisng awhile back. (Can't remember if Piers was there for that one or not but I do remember Simon.) I feel good when one of these people comes along and wows everybody. But I still say that the next huge musical success will not come from one of these shows. I just know that there is some struggling garage band somewhere that will become the next Beatles without any help from Simon or Piers.

I saw this before on another discussion so I think a lot of people must be wowed by her voice. I listened to it before and it made me tear up. She's a beautiful singer. It just goes to show you that judging a book by it's cover can also make you put your foot in your mouth. Even though no one actually said anything before, their facial expressions said it all. What Simon said though, oh how he knew, you've gotta know he didn't! Lol, well great surprise for all.

I agree. It was a good show on Saturday night! I think its horriable how humans pre-judge everyone and everything they see. We all do it and alot of the time we are in for a shock! I think the thing about that 47 year old woman was that she didnt 'look' talented. I know this sounds really daft but people can look talented. You just seem to know when you look at them. Take that band 'Flawless' for example, you could tell right from the off that they were talented! :)

I have always been amazed at the Britain Got Talent show, and how good the singers are, not at all like Americans who are more into belting and popular music. She is good. It shows you if you can really sing, age does not matter.

I had already seen her hen and I have to say I loved her. I think I just said somewhere else that it is a great reminder that we really shouldn't judge a book by its cover - and the fact that she is Scottish just makes it all the sweeter! lol xxx

She put Simon in his place, didn't she! I so loved seeing his face once she started to sing! Now THAT is a kodak moment!! LOL I hope she goes somewhere with her singing because she really can sing!! Wow!! I'm amazed that she wasn't discovered before now!!

I also like them. But I think I am not big afan as you are.
