I have 2 Black Labs. I bought a knotted pull rope. I gave it to the female & then teased the male with the other end. They finally figured out they could play tug-a-war with it. Now the female will run over & pick it up. She then hits him in the snout with the knot so he'll get mad & start playing with her. They growl, they yank, & pull each other across the yard. They look soooo cute!!! I've tried to get a pic of it but they always stop & try to see what I'm doing.

My dogs always chew there toys up too!
One of my dogs really isn't bothered about toys, ones likes them every now and again but my other dog loves his toys! He would play fetch all day!

I have 3 german shepherds that I buy tennis balls for. I also buy them used
stuffed animals at Goodwill stores for 25 cents each . I figure they are only going to chew them up anyway , they could care less if it's a 25 cent toy or a 10 dollar one. Honestly what my dogs like playing with the most are coconuts .
We have 13 palm trees and lots of cocos ! They love playing with the smaller coconuts that they can fit in their mouths .

We don't have a dog, but we do have a cat. When I was growing up, and had a dog, she'd tear up tennis balls too. My grandparents lived next to a tennis court, so we always got the balls that landed in their backyard. As for our cat, his favourite toy is a thing on a spring that he bats around.
