Oh my - Kris stole my heart with that song. I have loved that song since I first heard it and when he started singing it I nearly started crying. I have some fond memories with that song and Falling Slowly was amazing. I loved it, even if Randy didn't. I will definitely vote for Kris tonight....and he has always been my favorite but it was a close call. Now, I want him to be the next American Idol!

I have to give Kris mad kudos for that one. I don't think that anyone else in seven years has taken the risk to go indie. Once in a while in the auditions - which rarely ends well - but not in all-out competition. But I've had a feeling all along about Kris being an indie kid, deep down

I think Lil went way overboard tonight, following the judges' suggestions. She (as usual) picked a horrible song ....well a terrific song but horrible for her and then when she tried to make it her own she butchered it.
I hope we're down to one girl after tomorrow too.

Yay! I think he will be safe....Lil was the worst to me. I think we may be down to one girl after tomorrow night. She just couldn't seem to follow the judges requests...but then you never know. I voted for him right away. I always have trouble getting votes in. Wish I had AT&T so I could text them in, lol. Thank you for responding! Go KRIS!!!! lol

I LOVED Kris... he's SOOOOOOOO adorable too! Adam blew me away, as usual. And Danny was FAB!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was disappointed in Allison. I thought she would have ROCKED Aerosmith... she was good but not great... But, yea... Kris was GREAT! I didn't like how only 2 judges judged tho...

I know, he is adorable!!! Adam always does amazing as does Danny...Allison could have done a lot better. I too was disappointed. About the judges...I think they could have kept all 4 judges if they didn't make the videos before the performance so long. I don't really care for those that much...take off 10-15 seconds of each one and then there would be plenty of time for all four judges to speak. Thank you for responding!!!

Here's an idea...cut out one of the commercial breaks and there will magically be time for all four judges to talk AND the pre-performance videos. LOL

i love that song, i wish kris have more emotion or depth
but the last note compensated every miss

listen to the original, it deserves more attention, america wasn't listening very much hehehehe

My favorites were Adam, Lil and Allison in that order. I think Kris was fourth and I suspect that Anoop's going home.

Randy obviously never saw that movie. The song started out a little rough, but when he got going it was really amazing. We had the show on DVR and listened to both Adam and Kris twice last night. I definately think Kris will be safe, it does not hurt that he is cute of course.

It was an independent film called Once. It was released on an album by the band called the Frames but it was really written for the movie (and vice versa). The Frames are on the ANTI- label, an independent offshoot of Epitaph.

Kris was good your are spot on, I actually thought everyone but lil rounds was pretty good. I did not like Matts version of that song but I thought it was good enough. I have posted before and believe Adam is the best, i am not sure he will win you never about these things, but it is like Daughtry, Clay, David Archuletta, you just know he is going to around no matter where he finishes.
