You can be anybody on a computer. Legit sites will ask for information, if you lie they will cancel you.

Along with technology came the increase in crime. I think the reason for this is criminals are now able to get information easily. I go online everyday and go to my bank statement. I keep a close eye on it so if someone has accessed my bank online I know right away and can put a stop to the transaction. So yes with the age of technology there is been a increase in problems also.
