Bitcomet problem

Does anyone here uses bitcomet torrent client? I have a weird problem with it. Sometimes after I start it, I can't surf anymore (pages aren't showing), mail wouldn't work, even online games...I though that maybe torrent is getting to much bandwidth but the problem doesn't dissapear even after closing the program. Only after restart everything starts to work normally again. I've tested it on the other computer too and it's the same. I'm using more or less the default setting on bitcomet. I've also tried the utorrent client and everything worked fine but I still prefer bitcomet. So is there a way to solve this problem?
