Feeling the effect of Global crisis

Our company had finally decided to cut our workforce by offering voluntary resignation package. Though the management have tried to avoid and keep employees intact by reducing the work days, the continuous drop in customer's PO and decline in giving order forecast had finally ink this decision. So far at least 42 employees had already signed and availed of this scheme. With the current situation that are company had, I think future offering is imminent to happen once again. Are you affected also by this so called global financial crisis? In what way do you feel it's effect? Please share your experience.
