What do you think of Guild Wars?

So I need a new MMORPG to occupy my time with, and I have been thinking of buying Guild Wars after hearing some good things about it. Has anyone here played it or is playing it? What do you think of it, and how does it compare to other MMO's like say, WoW?

It's good, but it can get a bit samey after a long time... PVP is very addictive.

And so I've heard. How long does it take to finish the quests in prophecies?

I've only got Factions... it kept me entertained for a few months, but my guild collapsed and my friends quit, so I didn't feel like building up a new guild. I'd reckon that prophesies could keep you on quests and missions for a good 200 hours of game play, depending on how good you are.

I played this game once. It was not my cup of tea. However the graphics on this game was very cool and the story line was not all that bad either.
